Winter break is over but, it was relaxing and fun, I spend my vacations with my family at home and I also went out with my friends to eat, to the movies, and sometimes to the gym. My winter break helped me to leave behind all the stress from school and have free time to do what I really like to do. My first semester went great, I pass all my classes and I did level four for some of them. This first semester of my senior year was a little hard but, it wasn’t impossible to accomplish my goals of passing all my classes. What I loved the most of my first semester as a senior was the good communication that I have with some of my teachers, learning new and interesting things, and learning from bad experiences.
Time flies, yesterday was the beginning of my senior year and today is the last day of the first semester. I have many things that I need to accomplish this next semester before graduation. Some of these things are finish my seven classes and complete a whole semester of algebra two plus my CNA class. Even though algebra two is not an easy class, I don’t really like this course. I don’t hate math but sometimes I have trouble understanding this subject. I will do my very best to pass this class and the other eight classes that I will be taking.
Now I can feel the real stress, in a day in which you have hundreds of things to do. You don’t even know from where to start. Now I understand those who used to say “senior year is the hardest year of high school” It is the hardest year but is also the most important and interesting year in high school. I have learn so many things this year and I feel like I really grow as a human being. I learned to make better decisions, to think before speaking, and the most important thing to remain humble and to treat all the people equally and in a nice way.
Is time to submit college applications and financial aid applications. The good thing is that Mr.Gutierrez, a spanish teacher is helping me with all of these applications, he is a really good teacher and he is spending his time helping seniors with college applications. I have a lot of plans for post graduation. I’m planning to attend Fresno State University after graduating from high school. I also want to look for a part time job while living in Fresno. That’s one reason why I’m taking the CNA class so I can have more opportunities to find a job. I’m interesting in the medical field but, I’m still undecided on what I want to become. I know that at this point I should have plans for everything but sometimes is hard to decide when you don’t have enough options to choose. I know this is a serious problem but, I will fix it by looking for more information about a variety of careers and choosing the one that I like the most.
